What CrossTies is
CrossTies is an iPhone app and this website about Canada: a short summary of the news every day with a link to each original source, guides, stories and services such as Express Entry rounds, calculators and practice tests. CrossTies is made by one person, its editor.
Information, not advice
Everything in CrossTies is general information. It is not legal, immigration, tax, financial or medical advice. Rules, rates and deadlines change: before you act, check the official source linked in the text.
Assistant
Answers in the chat are written by an AI assistant from CrossTies guides, stories and news. They can be wrong or incomplete. Do not send the assistant personal details you would not share, such as document numbers or health information.
Purchases
The Full version is a one-time in-app purchase. Pro is an auto-renewable monthly subscription. Apple sells both and charges your Apple Account; the price is shown in the app before you buy.
Pro renews automatically unless you turn it off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel it in your Apple Account settings, under Subscriptions. Apple handles refunds: reportaproblem.apple.com.
Licence
Your use of the app is also governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
